Shoulder issues Help

Hello I have a question I am having pain in my right shoulder not extreme but it occurs when doing pressing movements my left shoulder seems fine it is my right shoulder.

I am able to tuck in shoulder blade for my left I cant do it with my left I do this so when im doing incline dumbbell press I limit the shoulder involvement and my incline is at the lowest its is not high just 1 level above flat.

Thank you advance

My guess would be a rotator cuff issue, which is pretty common. You should let it heal, work on stretching, and perhaps take something for the inflammation. Once it's healed, make sure your form is correct on your presses (bad form all too often causes rotator cuff issues), make sure you're warming up/stretching before your sets and perhaps look to incorporate some exercises aimed at strengthening your rotator cuff muscles (e.g., face pulls).

It doesn't matter if one of them is fine if the other is injured. You still need to let the injured one recover.

I gave it a couple of months to recover. I am thinking of going back to my physio

I have and am dealing with an RC issue. I find bands to be helpful for warming up the RC.

Unfortunately, incline pressing can put your shoulder/RC in a compromising position. I love inclines but this is what aggravated my injury.

See an othro, could be an impingment, inflammation of the bursa or rotor, labral issues. You may just need a cortizone shot or some PT. But see a DR.

Agreed. If this has been going on for months now and you didn't recover from several months of rest, it's definitely time to speak with an ortho.
