so yes I'm new here and loving it so far. i just started this yesterday, and can see the difference in what I allow myself to eat in just one day. i have been exercising since last tuesday. it is day 6 for me. I have not noticed any difference yet. i weigh 130. i want to get down to about 105. i have never exercised in my life and its time for a change. i have quit smoking and drinking mountain dew! go me. i am learning so much hear and very excited about this place. i really hope i can stick with it!- AG

    I have a lot more to lose than you do -- I want to lose about 100 pounds. That sounds like a scary journey. But just like you, I reallly hope I can stick with it.
  • yes i quit new years eve. i will admit to having a black n mild to curve my appetite for an actual cigarette. but now i dont even use those. to be truly honest its not the smoking that i was ever scared of it was my addiction to mountain dew! lol. this is really only my second day without mountain dew but i know i can do it. soda is the worst and carries so many of the calories i couldnt get rid of! i agree that it is tough gl to you i really hope we both can stick with it!
  • Oh man, my best friend loves Mt. Dew! I'm not a soda drinker, but it's great you were able to eliminate that! Drinks really get you... I mean, aren't they all water with flavor? But the calories! Tricky, tricky!!
