Is it possible to lose 5.4 pounds in two days? Cause that's what my scale says.. I came home from Doctors and weighed and it was the same as their scale. Just wondering. And 2 as you can see I just started, and been weighing at night and this morning. But maybe I should just do it once a week?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It is possible, especially if you are starting out, but it is probably not all fat loss; it could be water retention as well. A change of habit can do that to your body.0

Weigh once a week - same time every week. For example, I weigh myself every Friday morning before I eat or drink anything and then log it. Your body weight fluctuates daily, so doing it once a week will help you keep track a little better.0

You need to have several consistent weight points to reference, like every day when you get out of bed, otherwise you are weighing food, water which all change depending on the time of day etc0

If I haven't been working out and eating right then the first week or two that I do, I lose a lot but it will stabilize around week three. Don't get discouraged when it starts slowing down. The initial weight you lose is a lot of water weight so it won't happen as you continue.0

I weigh at night and in the morning...and whenever I feel like it during the day. This way I know my fluctuations and I can keep a mental average.0

Ditto on the water weight. Its seems like its best to weigh once a week. I weigh every day, but I keep in mind that my weight can fluctuate a couple pounds in either direction any given day. You might see it go up a little tomorrow but as long as the weight is going down in the overall trends, you're good0
