I'm in the market for a new gym bag. What do you use and what are the pros and cons?

I use one of those drawstring bags like this:
Pros: Collapsable so it fits anywhere. Holds a lot of junk. Simple and light to throw over your shoulder(s)...
Cons: No organization. No stability so you have to pay attention to where you set it down....if you stuff jeans in there when you change, you'll have to dig past or through the jeans to find your keys...lol0 -
I have this:

It's sturdy, pockets for organization, roomy.
Can be tough to fit into a gym locker but I also had a blow dryer and a bag of fractional weights in mine so that really contributed to a bulkeh bag0 -
Depends on what you're putting in it.0

I have a gym bag from GMC. It's so big I could use it for an overnight bag. However it makes me feel like an athlete.
Also it looks good!!0 -
I have two different ones that I love!
I have a one strap backpack that holds my yoga mat and has room for shoes and stuff like that.
My other is my favorite though! I bought it on Amazon and it's actually a shopping tote (may be a little girly looking). The reason I love it is because there is a big pocket for my shoes, clothes, towel, etc. and then a little zipper section underneath that is lined like a cooler section. It's perfect for going to the gym in the morning and class after because I just put a freezer thing and my breakfast in the bottom!

I just use an Adidas gym bag. It only has one main pocket, which is ok. I wish it had an extrenal zip pocket sometimes. It has lasted quite a while (almost 2 years), and it is still going strong.
I really want this one (http://www.goruck.com/en/20l-gym-bag), but I can't justify the cost at the moment. I like that it has one main compartment, two zipper pockets on the end, and one small zipper pocket on the inside. Plus, it has a lifetime guarantee if it ever breaks or gets a hole in it. Maybe once my adidas one wears out.0 -
I just use a duffle bag with some side pockets. It's a medium size one so it fits in the locker easy and will easily fit all my change of clothes into. I am able to keep extra deodorant and make-up removing face wipes in one of the pockets and my armband, heart rate monitor, and ear buds in another pocket which makes for quick getting ready time.
ETA: It's a Home Depot one that I got for free when I used to work there, lol but it's been super useful :drinker:0 -
are you showering at the gym? If not I don't think you need a bag. I hate taking stuff in there with me.0

I have the girl version of this Adadis one and it is pretty damn awesome. It comes in a bunch of different colors also. My favorite thing about it "On one end cap of the duffel is a freshPAK ventilated compartment, great for keeping smelly shoes and gear separate from the rest of your stuff."

I've got this one and I love it, but it might be a bit girly for you!

Mine is a backpack by Stormtech. (http://www.stormtech.ca/bpx-2-cargo-daypack.html)
It has 2 main zippered compartments, which is useful to store dirty gym clothes (and wet towels) after a morning workout and before heading to work. It also has a small pocket where I put everything that would normally go in my purse.
I also prefere a two shoulder strap because I often walk home from work (40 minutes).0
