My opinion is that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. The only way to lose fat is to eat at a healthy deficit, losing 1-2 lbs a week.0

Save your money, follow MFP. Wait and see how your friend does a year from now... In my experience, any programs like this are purely temporary and once you go back to regular eating, you gain most/all the weight back. They don't teach you proper portions or healthier eating - it's just a band-aid.0

It is yet another MLM, aka pyramid scheme. You buy a product from a friend or coworker. You keep buying. It becomes cheaper for you to become a sales person so that you can get 25% off or something, then you start selling to your friends.
"It Works" sells body wraps, supplements, and creams. If the body wraps do anything, it's temporarily drop water weight. A 45 minute massage will cause you to drop more water weight than a body wrap will. Their creams appear to be mildly astringent moisturizers.
The supplements:
•Detoxify, alkalize, and promote pH balance within the body
•Acidity-fighting magnesium and potassium blend
•Cutting-edge probiotic support for digestive health
•38 herbs and nutrient-rich superfoods
•8+ servings of fruits and vegetables in every packet
•Free radical-fighting antioxidants
•Tangy orange flavor
HAHA omg. ALKALIZE! Ahh you're killing me. PS: How can one, 4 g packet contain 8+ servings of fruits and vegetables?

Never heard of it but just out of curiosity, why are you focusing on something (and this is just me assuming) that is another one of a thousand fad diets out there. You are at a place where you get to eat everything you want/need and with a system that tell you when you eat too little or too much. I understand calorie counting isn't for everyone but these weight loss systems are for no one.0 -

It's something you have to maintain forever and ever.
I had a friend selling it and I figured I'd watch her for six months to see if there was any improvement before I invested.
Nope.0 -

I don't buy into most of it. BUT I will say I take their Hair, Skin, Nails supplement as well as the Confianza (stress reducing) and LOVE both of them. The weight loss portion of it is more iffy.0 -

Good Morning, I am having a rough time with Emotional aka Stress eating......wondering if anyone would care to share ways of handling it? I have worked so hard to lose 80 pounds already and have seen the scale creep both up and down....I am tired of the up swings and know it is due to stress/emotioinal eating........I know I can no longer wait for others who promise to join me in my exercising and have gone that route alone......working 2 jobs and having 2 teenage kids makes me time even more important......appreciate any help at all from anyone.........THANKS0

Their Confianza formula:
epimedium grandiflorum extract: Also known as horny goat weed, believed to cause increased sexual activity in goats. No studies on humans.
puncturevine extract: Claimed to increase the body's natural testosterone levels and thereby improve male sexual performance and help build muscle. It was popularized by American IFBB bodybuilding champion Jeffrey Petermann in the early 1970s. However, T. terrestris has failed to increase testosterone levels in controlled studies. It has also failed to demonstrate strength-enhancing properties
siberian ginseng root extract: Only tested in vitro on animals. May be anti-fatigue, anti-inflammatory.
golden root extract: the FDA has forcibly removed some products containing R. rosea from the market due to disputed claims that it treats cancer, anxiety, influenza, the common cold, bacterial infections, and migraines.
schisandra fruit extract:L be therapeutically beneficial in promoting the body's humoral and cell-mediated immune responses. No effective clinical trials.0 -
Thank you everyone. I'm looking for something to jump start me, nothing long term. Beginning of the year I did well and lost 20 lbs, now it's back and I need motivation and a push to get started.0

Been there done that....regained (again....Grrrrrr).
Now for the final time (fingers crossed)....I won't make any changes to lose weight....that I won't do to maintain it. Just "jump start" with one healthy change. Then add another, and anther.
One change for me ....FitBit. I always thought that I was pretty active (wrong!) .....a FitBit pushes me to move more.0 -
You know what works? MFP works. Check out Consumer Reports. MFP users experience more success in losing and maintaining weight lost than any other program out there.0

Good try, but that's not going to get you anywhere in the billion dollar diet industry. It needs to be $190. And a "fitness lifestyle."0
