Girls - How many times a week do you lift?

Girls - How many times a week do you lift, and what's your routine? As of right now I am lifting two or three times a week, usually knocking out arms/chest in one day and legs in another. If I do lift three times a week I'll throw in a back day too.
Also, why do you lift as many times as you do? I'm curious since I don't know a single other girl who lifts.

I lift 3 days a week, day 1 is arms and chest and back, day 2 is lower body, and day 3 is mostly core work.0

ALL the days!
Just kidding. 5 days a week. Sometimes 4. I split up muscle groups and do 2 or so every day.
Why? So I can stay looking a 10. Duh. :laugh:0 -
I'm into my 10th week of Stronglifts and I lift 3 times a week. Now that I'm getting into really heavy (for me) territory, I need to have a day off in between to recover completely.
When I was completing New Rules of Lifting for Women I used to lift 4 times a week.0 -
For me it can vary from 2 to 4 days a week. I make sure to lift at least twice a week. But, sometimes I lift every other day. And sometimes 3 days. I also dance and perform. So, I need to balance that for recovery time. Strong Curves.0

I lift 3 days a week. My split is: (1) chest/tri's/shoulders (2) Bi's/back (3) legs. Then I do cardio 3 days, usually HIIT. I have 1 rest day. Good luck.0

3x a week. Currently doing All Pro barbell routine. It's full body. The only lift I don't do every day I lift is deadlift. I lift Monday, Wednesday, Friday and take Wednesday off from deads.0

ETA:
My current routine is to prepare for a powerlifting meet in 3 weeks doing deadlift only.
My usual routine is to prepare for a bodybuilding competition in a year and a half.0 -
There are weeks I don't get them all in, but I aim for 3 days/week. I'm doing stronglifts.0

3x a week. Following NROL4W.
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays... at 5am LOL
I mix in 3x week HIIT & cardio sessions as well just to keep things interesting0 -
4x a week, doing this http://www.simplyshredded.com/the-ultimate-female-training-guide.html0

3x a week following Stronglifts 5x5. I lift that many times because that's the program.0

3-4 days and I'll do full body. Touch on everything so there isn't a big lapse from when I last worked out a particular muscle.... I do take extra emphasis on one body part at a time.0

6 days/week. Following the Jamie Eason Live Fit Trainer 12-week plan right now.0

4 days a week, one for each compound lift + accessories. Currently doing the juggernaut method 2.0

Tuesday: Bench/accessories (Arnolds, incline bench, triceps ext.)
Friday: Deadlift/accessories (front squat, hanging leg raises, good mornings)
Saturday: OHP/accessories (pushups, lat pull, db row)
I run on Wednesday and Sunday.0 -
Right now 1-2 times a week. 3 would be ideal but I just can't fit it in.
I do a variation of this:

Lots of lady lifters round here! !
I lift 3x/wk. I follow NROLW. But truthfully, I do more sets and add in other lifts as well. It's just a guide.0 -
I lift 3xs a week but more if I am able. I do total body each time instead of focusing on muscle groups. Not sure if it's right or wrong- just my thing.0

3 or 4 times a week, depending on how I feel. I do modified Strong Curves, so it's a whole body thing.
Why? Because the book tells me too? And to achieve max level sexiness.0 -

I do this as well and it works well for me0 -
I weight train 4 days a week I believe. I tried breaking up the muscle groups but my organization is not good enough so I do 2 days of back/arms/chest, 2 days of legs/squats (only doing dead lifts one of the days though), and a day doing accessory work on the weight machines. I do a little core each time.
I do it like this because I feel once a week on upper/lower is not enough for me and I really like to squat twice a week because well...*kitten*.0 -
I lift 4x a week and do high intensity cardio 3x a week.
Lifting I'll alternate from arms/upper body to legs/lower body0 -
I'm 72. I lift 3 times a week, do yoga 5 times a week. Quite a few younger women who work out with resistance training of some sort here. Most of the older ones are doing rehab. I do this so I don't have to do rehab.0
