Feeling pretty good about myself. I finished day 19 of 30 day shred. I've been at this almost 6 months (next week). I've lost 37 pounds which is the most I've ever lost (sure, I started out weighing more but, anyway). Then...someone posted a picture on facebook from camping last weekend that was NOT the most flattering angle and it took all the wind out of my sails. No question just feeling crappy now. Guess it's just a reminder of how far I have to go.

Don't look at it that way..get a pic from 37lbs ago...put it beside the camping pic...

Pics even for the "fittest", "slimest" folks can get them down..my sister who is a size 4 just cringes sometimes at pics...until they are put beside the ones of her 20lbs ago...

If it makes you feel any better my profile pic is the best one taken that day...some of the other...wow...just wow...I just look at them and laugh cause my facial expressions are so "duh"...

Chin up...you have done well and are more than half way to where you want to be...and the fact you are almost through level 2 of shred and haven't said F* it is great too...that **** made me cry the first 2 days.

I hate pictures...almost as much as I hate stepping on the scales because they both can mentally tear us down. Like Chrissy said...compare them to your pics from 37 lbs. again--and consider it one of your in between pics. You're doing great...don't let one pic bring you down!

Hey, only positive thoughts here  seriously, you've come so far don't let one pic get you down. You've lost a lot already and even though you may have more to go, you've accomplished that much. Keep it up and use that as motivation to lose the next 10, 20 or however much your goal is. You got this!! :drinker:

Look at it as how far you've come. Plus, did you have a good time camping? Would you have had a better time if you looked the way you think you should have looked? Try to focus on the positive.

I agree, make a side by side picture of a before and now. Chances are you will be surprised at the difference.

Focus on your accomplishments, not what you still have to do.

I had a great time camping. You're right, I don't think my weight would have made a difference. Thanks everyone!!
