Help me find Jeans: size 12, all butt and tummy, 5'2

I'm excited that i lost a size, and would like to find a good pair of jeans for the fall.
I have a lot of problems with jeans because I'm short and have a massive butt.
As a result, the jeans that fit correctly lengthwise tend to have a big gap at my lower back.
if I go to the regular size, I can kind of get the butt to fit correctly, but it becomes 2 or 3 inches too long.

I have a tummy too, so that low cut, under belly button thing doesn't work for me either.

Help, petite, bb girls! I'll pay more $$ to get them to look right :)

I'm 5'2" and at my heaviest (170 lbs) I was wearing size 12 jeans from Old Navy. This baby's got back too so I feel your pain. I will say that the Old Navy jeans by far have fit the best compared to many other brands. now that I've lost a good 15 lbs my jeans are much much looser but still wearable with a belt. I get the "sweetheart" style: higher waist, fuller hips and they have a bit of stretch to them. I love my jeans <3

If you catch them during a sale you can get them for around $12-15 a pair, normally they're around $22-25.

I was also going to recommend trying the "Sweetheart" style at Old Navy.

You could also spend a couple of dollars to get a pair of jeans tailored to get the fit right, or take up the length on a pair that's too long but fits better in the mid section. I think it only costs $10 for my husband to get his suit pants hemmed.

I'm literally a foot taller than you but swear by Calvin Klein stretchy jeans. I get them at Macy's. Ample room for booty. I love them. The waist always fits properly and there's enough stretch so you don't get that weird gap in the waist.

I was going to suggest Old Navy sweetheart jeans too. They come in short length, are stretchy and the are pretty cheap especially if they are having a sale.

Levis too but every "number" style fits differently. Definitely have to try on.

You may have to getting your pants altered. So you could buy the regular length jeans and then get them tailored for your height.

i'm not even 5' and i've got a big ole booty so i know exactly what you are going through. one of my fav pairs of jeans are from kohls - lauren conrad. the fit great. also i love love love my nine west vintage from steinmart. not too low (i have a lower pouch) and the length is perfect. i didn't have to hem them.

I concur with the crowd saying ON sweetheart cut jeans. I'm 5'2" and size 12 as well. I also have an old pair of Gloria Vanderbilt jeans from kohls that are pretty good, same size 12. This week I found some pants at Academy Sports that I now love. They are capris - not sure if AS has short length regular pants. Good luck!

i love levi's curvy 528 jeans.they're the only affordable jeans that fit me perfectly. and on a side note -not trying to be funny-maternity pants are great because the waist is adjustable

I second maternity jeans. Everyone makes fun of me for wearing them, but it's the only style that doesn't gap on me. I wear the kind without the giant belly band, just the small elastic waist.

American Eagle worked well for me at a size 8 because they have different leg length options. I'm 5'0.

    They were flattering too.

I'm 4'11 with a JLo style booty, and my go to jeans are the Suki and Aiko styles by Silver. I always have to get everything hemmed, and if the waistband wants to gap I get them to take it in a touch.

I haven't seen anybody mention Land's End or LLBean, you can order online and input your waist and inseam sizes.

I second the sugestions to try old navy sweetheart, and you may want to try the Sonoma brand from Kohl's. They usually have some sort of sale going on so they are pretty affordable too.

NYDJ brand (not your daughters jeans) I swear by them... I am curvy also and these jeans, regardless of style, hug the curves with no gap at back waist. love, love, love them...

Have tried Old Navy as well -- problem with Old Navy is that two different pairs of jeans-same style- fits totally different. Plus 1/2 hour after wearing them, they bag out horribly.
