Zucchini Bread

I have a hard time getting my kids (me & Jimmy too) to eat veggies, but we love this bread.
I found a similar recipe on Allrecipes.com and changed it up some now that I'm eating better. I just made this low cal version tonight for the first time and it was really good. You can replace the sugar with splenda but I'm not a fan.
3 cups all-purpose flour sifted or 2 cup white flour and 1 cup wheat
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
3 tsps ground cinnamon
½ tsp pumpkin spice (optional)
3 eggs or 4 egg whites
1 cup applesauce
½ cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
3-4 cups grated zucchini
Pre-heat oven to 325, grease and flour two 8 x 4 pans.
Mix dry ingredients set aside
Beat eggs, applesauce, sugar and vanilla then stir in dry ingredients
Stir in zucchini
Bake for 40 to 60 minutes, or until tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan on rack for 20 minutes. Remove bread from pan, and completely cool.
If you follow Weight Watcher's, the point value for one loaf is 12 points.

Have you ever tried to substitute the sugar and brown sugar with the Splenda and Brown sugar Splenda? I was just curious if it would work??0

I've never tried splenda in this bread so I'm not sure how much it would change the taste.0
