do you guys think if i had a smoothie pineapple a day it'd be healthy?
the one i made is only about one hundred twenty or so calories, and it has a lot of vitamin c, vitamin b12, vitamin d and 10 percent or less of other things like iron and stuff.
the only bad thing i can think of is all the sugar, which is about 17g in all i think.
i'm just curious because it was easy to make and it doesn't taste that bad.

thers no problem with a pineapple smoothie a day in theory.
Sugar is only a problem if you need to keep your sugars levels in check but most people dont.
Personally, I would mix it with other fruit or yogurt or milk, pineapple is really acidic. whenever i eat too much my mouth and throat start to burn and I get a weird taste in my mouth. Thats usually when I eat like a whole can of the tidbits (I love pineapple) but 120 calories isn't that much pineapple I don't think....a can is 240?0 -
i'm only using a cup, it may be inaccurate but everywhere is saying it's 80-82 calories
but i mixed it with coconut milk and ice, but i do get the acidic part, it always burns my lips and stuff0 -
Do you have a scale? Weighing the pineapple will give you a much more accurate estimate of calories. Also, unless you are using the tiniest splash of coconut milk, I would expect it to be higher in calories - unless you are using coconut water?0

i don't have a scale but i do plan to get one, but i'm pretty sure it's coconut milk, it says it's only 45 calories per cup, maybe they reduced it or something0

Excellent, I found it much easier to keep on track when I could weigh things!
So long as the packaging says it's that amount of calories then go with the packet It just sounded a bit low to me, as the coconut milk I use is 120 calories for 1/3 of a cup! Which is why I was wondering if you were using coconut water instead.0
