Hi everyone, I'm new here.I found out about this app from a friend of mine. I need help staying motivated please! Let me tell you a bit about myself. I just turned thirty a week ago.I have 2 young kiddos who r my world. However, my biggest problem is my legs. My knees have degenerated to the point that they need replaced and the doctors where I live refuse to do it as I'm "too young". On a good day the pain is manageable, on a bad day I can barely walk. I need to lose 35 pounds. For pain and health reasons. I can't do a lot of exercise and getting discouraged and depressed sets in real quick. I'm scared if I can't lose the weight I'll be wheelchair bound by 35 and all my kids will remember is how much mom hurt when they were little. My hubby tries to understand and keep me positive but its hard for him.so fa, I've cut out all processed sugars, eating fruit occasionally, all soda, and have adjusted to being gluten free as that seems to help with inflammation pains and all the osteoarthritis I have hanging out in my knees. I have also begun doing the gnc complete protein shakes 1-2 times daily. I guess I need the most help figuring out the best ways I can exercise without much impact on my knees. Cycling is too painful as is using an elliptical right now. While I hope to get to that point, right now I can't. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
