    Do Swisher Sweets count?

My very first cigar was a Swisher Sweet. 1976. Marine Corps. We had just finished up setting a Communications Support Hut out in the field. Out in the middle of nowhere. Gunny Duran called me over. We were making C-Ration Hot Chocolate. He poured me a cup, added a shot of Jack Daniels and handed me a Swisher Sweet. It became a nightly ritual.

I still smoke cigars (an occasional Swisher), still love JD and am still friends with Gunny Duran.

Back in my pre mortgage, divorce, child support days it was macanudo's or las cabrillas.
Now, backwoods or a half of the light bodied no-name branded cigars I've had in my humdore that I bought years ago.

Ever since I dropped a ton of weight I can't smoke a whole cigar unless I smoke it real real slow.
Slow to the point I have to re-light it.

    Otherwise I will feel sick.

So If I do smoke it's a backwoods or a dutchmaster and I dip the tip in a shot glass of brandy or some other hard liquer while I smoke it & it tastes awesome. :)
