Can you save say 200cal per day say for the weekend?...(like on weight watchers where you can save 2 points a day for up to 6 days to "spend" ie. on the weekend)

  • Yeah I asked that question too, I think the answer is no!!! Wouldn't that be nice, but I don't think going over 200 calories is such a big deal if your not doing it everyday and remember when you work out, you get to eat those calories!!!

    In my opinion, I think that you can! Lets say your calorie goal is 1400 per day, you instead eat 1200 a day for 5 days, so you have an extra1000 plus your normal 1400 a day to eat on the weekend, that's 500 extra calories on each day above your normal calories. I believe that it matters for the total week what you consume and output. Why not just have a splurge day one day a week? I do that and I am still losing weight. I think that you will be ok on a small slurge, besides it keeps your body guessing when you go up and down on your calories during the week. I don't alway eat 1400, I sometimes eat more or less depending on how I feel. Hope this helps and makes sense!

    thanks for that...I wouldn't want to do it every week but for example I attended a wedding last week with every intention of getting in extra excercise to cover the big dinner! as it happens between the wedding/reception being longer than I expected and caring for 3 kiddies I was exhausted and never made the extra exercise - That's precisely the situation where saving for 6 days beforehand would have been perfect - In my humble opinion lol (o;
