Is this a good food plan and exercise routine?

I'm looking to lose weight in about 3 months and I was wondering if this was good. Today was an unusual day food wise because we made pizza and cake last night so that threw me off. (FYI I had 2 slices of pizza for breakfast and lunch and cake as a snack. This isn't usual though.) But this is what the normal plan would be: Bacon, Eggs, and toast for breakfast. Mac and Cheese for lunch. And some kind of meat with vegetables for dinner. I would exercise 6 days a week. The exercise would be jogging for an hour at 7 mph. Can I achieve my goal? By the way, I am 150 lbs and 5'4.

This is very broad.. you should check out my Instagram for some healthy choices and tips if you want. (healthylivingem)
That food isn't bad its all in proportion. You can always make healthier substitutions for those meals as well. For example, whole wheat or gluten free pasta for mac and cheese. For toast, whole wheat or sprouted grain bread without the sugary jellys/jams/butter etc. For three months you would want to really go all in but it should be a lifestyle change because if you start to yo-yo diet this will just end up being worse.
ALSO. You should lift heavy weights vs. doing endless hours of cardio.0 -
If your total with exercise keeps you within your target limits, then that plan should work.
I have a bias against carbs. Unless you really love toast, isn't there some other food you might enjoy more for the same calories? Maybe fruit? Maybe a beverage with traces of sugar (eg: coconut water) or dairy (coffee or tea with milk or cream)?
Mac and cheese is a huge carbohydrate and calorie bomb. But the level of pleasure one gets from mac & cheese may well be worth it. If calories allow, consider adding a side salad at lunch.0 -
You should speak with a doctor before beginning a weight loss journey.
The doctor would be able to give you a good idea of what kind of food you should be eating and how to go about it.
Ask the doctor, not the yahoos online. Then begin.
Good luck.0 -

yeah it's also important to find out if you have any silent medical conditions that might affect your food choices (eg: diabetes, pre-diabetes, high cholesterol), or affect your ability to lose weight (thyroid or cortisol disorders), or affect your ability to exercise (heart problems, asthma).0 -
