Set backs suck

Just curious if anyone else has had a similar experience. I have not been able to workout since May, and am 5 days post op and will not be able to workout for another 6 weeks. Slowly the pain is going down and I am increasing my mobility and hope to be able to go for short walks soon. But for now I just feel really restless and a bit depressed. Did anyone else feel that way while recovering?

I have SO been there. I had back surgery in January of 2013 and it's been a long, slow journey back to health. I'm still not where I was, which is a hard thing to admit to oneself (at least, it was for me). The best you can do is heal, eat as healthy as you can, and take one day at a time.
If you ever need to vent or talk to anyone, feel free to contact me. Good luck with everything!0 -
