I LOVE the fair and have found some food options that work for me (these are specific to the indiana state fair).
Many lemon shake up booths will make them sugar free, just ask. I find the ones who use Splenda and stick with them.
Grilled corn on the cob is decent too.
Pineapple whip is surprisingly low in calories, and refreshing.
And finally, I have switched to elephant ears instead of funnel cakes...they're still not great for you, but they're easily half the calories of a funnel cake, and delicious. Share with someone and it can fit into your calories.
Enjoy! And if it's a funnel cake you crave, enjoy that too!0 -
Always day yes to funnel cake! I had one at my fair a few weeks ago. Enjoyed every bite♡0

My first week of school always starts off with a local fair.... The food is the main attraction!
Even though it's three weeks away, I already know what I'm eating - fried oreos and pierogies. MAYBE a good hot dog if I'm in the mood.0
