How to fit in work out schedule

Hello! So I just started my journey on weight loss. I am 19 years old and a full time student and waitress / barista. How would you suggest incorporating working out through out the week? I have been on this journey for the last week but just started recording my entries on the site. I find this site really helpful... but I am horrible with time management.
For those with busy schedules how do you guys do it?
Words of encouragement are very much appreciated.
Thank you! :-)

Go to Pinterest and look up 10 minute workouts. You can do 10 minutes in the morning, 10 minutes between classes, and 10 minutes before bed. That equals to 30 minutes a day of exercise. Another tip is to park as far away as possible whenever you drive. I heard something on the radio the other day that was the fun fact, "Fit people park in the first spot they see, not the spot that is closest to the door." So it may be quite a hike to get where you're going, but the walking is still exercise.
Good luck to you!0 -
I'm not sure what hours you work or what exercise you enjoy the most - a suggestion would be to get up an hour earlier each day - sounds horrible, I know! However, it means you could get some exercise in maybe a run or whatever you prefer Plus I'm sure be super sleepy later that night.
I am very blessed with my job as it is 9-5.30pm. So I would go after work when I can if I don't have prior engagements. I cycle to work/back some days also. Yet again, everyone's circumstances are different.
I hope you come to a concluding settlement.0 -
I reduced the amount of time I spend on MFP, watching TV. and sleep if I have to. We all have hectic schedules these days.0

Work out early AM before school this is a fantastic way to start your day the best part is your done for the day and don't have to stress about staying on point. If early AM is not an option then hit the gym on your lunch break.
Depending on your level of fitness and commitment you can break up your routine throughout your day . I do 1 cardio session at 4 am, Weight training on my lunch break and my last cardio session before my second job which is nights. Find what suites you best and stick with it. If you want it bad enough or have a passion for fitness you'll figure it out. Good Luck! I hope your journey is pleasant.0 -
This entire week was really busy for me but I have attempted to wake up earlier than work and it's been going well. I have a lot more energy through out the day since exercising and I have noticed I have been getting much better sleep.
Thank you all! I hope your journeys are going well.0 -
I'm in a similar boat. When classes start back in a couple of weeks my schedule is going to be INSANE (I'll literally only be home to sleep on some days), but I've got a plan to stay on track.
Sunday will be "meal plan day", which will be a trip to the grocery store then dividing meals out into containers that I can quickly and easily throw into a cooler that will live in the trunk of my car each day. I live about 45 minutes from school and work, so I went online and found a gym that is near school and work. I went ahead and signed up there so I could get the initial consult out of the way while my schedule was still fairly normal.
My plan right now is leave school, go to the gym, get my sweat on, shower and get presentable, then go straight to work. Lather, rinse, repeat.
The point is, to get done everything you want to get done, you have to plan ahead, then make it a point to follow through.0 -

That's a good plan. I will try to figure out meal planning. It's a bit hard for me now since my budget is still being sorted. But hopefully I'll be able to meal plan through out the week. I've slowly been cutting out foods. It's getting easier.
I hope it works well for you.
Thank you.0
