I am eating 1200 calories a day. I am also doing weight watchers pus program. I only eat my points, no extra. I exercise 5 days a week for at least 1 hour a day. I burn 300-400 calories. I am not losing any weight. should I eat my exercise calories?

Short answer- yes. There is a link in the forums regarding why this is so necessary. It is for "newbies".0

Yes, if you do not eat them it is as if you are only eating 800-900 cals (1200 minus the 300-400), not enough for your body to function properly.0

You should definitely be eating your exercise calories if your daily calorie goal is 1200. You don't want to eat fewer than 1200 net calories (calories consumed minus calories burned).0

Yes - your body needs more fuel when you make it work harder!0

yes, it's crucial that you eat these.0

yes, you should. or at least half of them. i didn't at first and it the scale moved slower than a turtle in mud.
i started eating my exercise calories and the pounds melted week by week. as long as i kept up on exercise and drinking plenty of water. :drinker:
i always make sure to eat enough everyday and if i exercise a lot, then i eat more or a heartier meal or two to get my calories in.
good luck!0 -
Thanks, I am going to add more calories as I exercise. Hopefully I see a difference.0
