question about "good carbs"?

i've been noticing that fairly often i will go over my recommended carb intake for the day. the thing is though, the majority of these carbs are coming from "good carbs" (i.e fruits and veggies). i know that these carbs are supposed to be beneficial toward your health, however i wanted to know if there was still any kind of health risk with taking too much of them. like, can it lead to weight gain if i don't expend those carbs through workout?

Excess of total calories will make you gain weight, not more carbs than you planned for when it comes to your percentages. I personally eat 50-60% of my calories in carbohydrate, which many on here would say is very high, but I have had no problems losing fat and maintaining muscle doing this. Do what works for you.0

Excess calories cause weight gain.
That said, you don't want to eat so many carbs that you're not getting enough protein and fats.
