FATAL FATIGUE!!!

Okay so the title was a little dramatic, but I'm a female university student with a mood disorder so fatigue is all too familiar to me. It's my biggest enemy in achieving my goals and living my life to the fullest. Now I just recently started my healthy lifestyle and I'm meeting my caloric/macronutrient intake goals, exercising daily, and staying hydrated. But I still manage to feel a constant, daily fatigue. From the moment I wake up, even after breakfast, maybe a small peak of energy in the afternoon and then back to sloth mode. I don't get it, what am I doing wrong? I use to think the fatigue was a product of my depression but even during my stable periods I feel lethargic. Are there any vitamins/supplements or nutrition I should be adding into my diet to help lift this curse? Help me out here!

Diet can cause fatigue…especially if you're not getting the right balance of nutrients. Perhaps if you examine your diet closely you can find particular foods that seem to coincide with fatigue? What do you eat or drink before that extra boost of energy in the afternoons? What do you eat or drink right before you start feeling wiped out? Are you eating enough to fuel your activity throughout the day?
Personal experience tells me that processed foods are my enemy. Even when I don't feel too full, eating processed foods just leave me feeling sluggish.
Your doctor could help you find any food sensitivities or allergies you may be experiencing as well0 -
How's your iron? Are you diabetic/prediabetic? Low iron, low hemoglobin and high blood sugars can all cause extreme fatigue. Best to get it checked out if you're constantly feeling so tired.0
