i started my journey in early june and since i've lost 16 pounds.
i've been doing the "eat whatever as long as i don't go over calories" diet..

i'm mentally telling myself that i'm going to start eating healthier, but then i go grocery shopping and i completely ignore my "diet voice" in my head saying that i need to get healthier food.

i do workout, but part of me doesn't wont to do it as much as i did when i first started.
i weigh 218.8 started at 235, but i don't feel accomplished at all. i feel like this is taking forever which is dumb since i didnt gain all of it last night..

Right now my goal is to lose 2 pounds a week, so 1200 calories a day, should i raise this?
in the beginning, the first month and half i lost 14 pounds but it seems to be slowing down now. since ive only lost 2 pounds. i have lost inches, but not lately..not the last couple weeks.

what should i do?
keep working out if so how often.. lately its been hard to do more than 40 mins or power walking or jogging which ever i do.
raise calories keep them the same?

i dont fry foods anymore, i do eat out maybe once a week..was eating out like 3 x a week.

I have a horribly annoying sweet tooth also, and when the cravings hit..i give in :(
i drink diet pepsi and water..

im totally dumb and ammeture to dietin, working out, and losing weight and i need help

It doesn't have to be all or none.

Make sure you get a variety of fruit & veggie items each day. Veggies tend to be low in calorie anyhow so help to fill out meals without adding a lot of calories. Weigh everything, log everything to be accurate. 1200 is very low - didn't work for me personally. Try a higher range, perhaps 1400-1600 to see if that is something you feel you can maintain longer term.

As for exercise - set goals for yourself. Exercise doesn't have to be complicated or stressful. Aim to be more active. Walk in place while watching tv, jog in place on the commercials. Go for a walk on a nice day. Exercise brings benefits, but losing weight is primarily about how much you consume. And if you do not use a food scale and weigh everything - you're guessing.

Though if the weight loss has stalled in the last few weeks, that might not be a concern. Sometimes stress, hormones (time of the month), sodium cause temporary water weight. Just keep moving forward.

this is a great response, thank u
i love the idea of walking in place watching tv then jog on commercial breaks..great idea definitely going to do that.
i do weigh everything and use measuring cups and i take a serving and bag it all so that i dont go over on things..
im definitely going to raise my calories a bit and hopefully i can start losing weight more consistently if possible!
    thank u again
