Map My Walk vs Polar H7

Hi. I have a Polar H7 that I just got so I'm trying to figure it out.

I have been using Map My Walk when I go walking. I go around my neighborhood and there's lots of hills. Lots of ups and downs. Distance is spot on with my car when I drive the route to verify it. I mean it's within .03 miles within each other so it's pretty accurate.

I've used the Polar H7 three times now. All of them it says I'm only doing about a quarter of distance that I really am doing. Not a huge biggie I guess cause I know what I'm really walking distance wise


Here's my big problem. They're WAYYYYYYY off in calories. Instance one says I burned 500 and the other says 130. It's that big of difference. When I'm doing 4 miles at a time it really adds up in the different amount burned.

I have map my walk synced with my fitness pal. Can't figure the Polar out to sync to anything yet lol.
