A friend of mine put in his two week's notice at his job... I'm used to seeing him everyday, so I'm going to miss him:ohwell: :frown: , and I'd like to make him something sweet as a goodbye present. Now, he has Diabetes and High Blood Pressure, and his wife also has some health problems. Does anyone have a recipe for some sweet goodies that are sugar free and healthy?

My suggestion (if you don't find any here) is to go to your grocery store & see what they suggest - or to a pharmacy.
It might sound a little odd, but it is probably the safest way to go.

Go to the Splenda website. They have some wonderful recipes on there. I have diabetic family members that require No Sugar substitutes when it comes to this stuff. I have had wonderful success with recipes from there.

I have gotten a sugar-free chocolate cake mix and sugar free chocolate frosting at Wal-Mart...my father-in-law is diabetic and he seems to love when I make it for him!!! It's not anything real fancy, but it is sweet and chocolate :-)
