favorite blender?? need recommendation

I LOVE smoothies and want to make my own instead of goingsomeplace and being tempted to get pasteries and begals. The blender I have was my parents and it DOES NOT break up the ice even if I used crushed ice. I would really like to get a blander that has the cup attached so I can drink it straight from the cup and put in the dishwasher. I am thinking maybe hte magic bullet because that seems to be the well known one. There are 2 other brands that seem to be recommended: Tribest and Ge Rocket.

Try the fit and fresh one. I got mine at GNC for like 20 bucks it is awesome!0

The magic bullet is good,but the blades go dull quickly, and sometimes misses huge chunks of ice However I have a NINJA And I LOVE It, it can turn ice into snow!0

my blender is my oster, and I'm impressed. Most of the time crushing ice kills my blenders and this one is going strong. It was from costco, on sale! Woo hoo!0

completely agree with oster. mine crushes ice and the one i had before last 3 years, this one crushes ice and makes great smoothies and makes them fast.0
