My first goal was 10% of my body weight which was 33 lbs at which point I set a new goal of 10%. I know I have a lot of weight to lose but it seems to help me to look at the smaller goal more so than the total as a goal. If I look at the total it seems insurmountable, but 10% seems doable!0

I love stats and goals are a big part of my motivation to keep progressing on my journey.
Details in my profile...
10% weight loss is a good first goal which for me was 24 lbs - completed this month
Have a longer term weight loss goal but make sure it's mostly lbs of fat lost and not lean muscle.
Don't make all your goals about lbs and weight loss.
For me other goals focus on running pace, distance, bf%, waist size, #miles per week/month, etc.
There will be stretches where the lbs don't seem to change but you are still progressing if you're meeting your other goals.
