Got a lot to lose and would love to have some like minded buddies on here. I work night shift four nights a week and that can be a struggle. I need buddies with a sense of humor who can have a laugh and share some support. Please feel free to request me.

I work as a 911 dispatcher 11pm-7am 5 nights a week. I cannot get up very often and move around obviously I am tied to the chair and radio/phone. I was diagnosed with type2 diabetes Nov 21 and weighed in at 342. Since I have started a healthy low carb / diabetic diet and now am 312!!! So I'm gonna kick type2's butt!!! Let's all do this together!!!0

Awesome job Hulcan911 !!! You are ROCKIN this!
I am married to an EMT and I am a mechanic for the United States Postal Service, I work 10PM-6:30 AM so I KNOW all about the screwy hours! I started a group called L.O.S.T. (Losing One Step at a Time) If you are interested in it I could send you an invite...just a bunch of people trying to help support each other through this journey. Friend me with a message and I'll send you the invite.0 -

I'm a night shift nurse, 11-7 five nights a week! It would be great to have more friends who understand why having a burger and fries at 7 AM is perfectly normal, LOL.0

Hello fellow nocturns!! I work 7pm to 7am 3 nights a week with a big stretch off in between. Most weeks I stick to that schedule since I have been on nights for years, even on my 6 days off, I rarely get to bed before 4am. I would love to have more friends to journey with, lots to loose and starting the DASH diet this year.

I can't agree with the others about loving it, but making the best of it that I can.I'm a night shift nurse, 11-7 five nights a week! It would be great to have more friends who understand why having a burger and fries at 7 AM is perfectly normal, LOL.
Or a brew.
As for those who can't adjust, you're not alone. I've been doing it quite some time and I still haven't.0
