Changing Calorie Goals

Hi!

I've been at this since January 1st, 2014. I've lost a total of 63 lbs and really changed my lifestyle. My question is, every time I lose another 10 lbs, MFP asks if I want to adjust my calorie goal... do I need to? I have added regular exercise to my life and haven't changed from the "sedentary" setting, nor have I changed my goal of losing 2 lbs per week. I am getting closer and closer to my goal of being at 210lbs (currently at 224). Do I need to change any of my settings?

As you lose weight, your BMR will decrease, and you need fewer calories to maintain.

MFP will requiz you, and set your calories so that you can still shoot to lose those 2 a week. Or get to the happy/sad day when you can only shoot to lose 1lb a week or 0.8 lbs a week because <1200 / day target is unhealthy.

I have to make it clear that I don't use MFP default settings. I enter my own numbers that I calculate every 5-10lbs loss. Your BMR and TDEE will both change as you continue to lose weight.

That's the way I have been thinking from the start. Maybe I will adjust to 1-2 lbs and see how it goes.
