So I am on this weight loss journey and walk 5 days a week and want to add to my calorie burn. I own an elliptical and wonder if daily use will make my thighs look bulky. I am pear shaped and that's where my weight falls so what's the best thing to do here? Thanks in advance for input!!!!

I don't think it will. the elliptical is mostly for cardio, so it will be good for your heart.

I'm a pear as well. 5 days weight training, followed by 30 min elliptical. They haven't gotten bulkier yet, still I'm only 3 months in. Do notice my butt's lifting, thats a bonus!0

You cannot get bulky on a calorie deficit.0

Or doing just cardio

All of this plus it's very hard for girls to get bulky. I've been doing the elliptical for over a year and I'm not bulky. I've also been lifting heavy for about 8 months and I'm not bulky.0 -
Do squats on alternating days for best results.0

yes.
because it's so easy for women to accidentally gain muscle mass. dont believe it when they say there are guys who have to work very hard at building muscle by eating a lot of food and doing a lot of high volume weight training and also using steroids. women can do it just by spending 30 minutes on the elliptical0 -

You die0 -
Women have to do absolutely nothing, it's the only way to prevent the bulk.
However if you ACTIVELY do nothing then you will get bulky.
So it's basically inevitable.0 -
