Good inexpensive sports bra for a DDD

I'm sure this topic has been brought up before, but please bear with me. I am a 40DDD and I am looking for a comfortable, inexpensive (under $30) sports bra that will both keep the girls under control AND separate them.

I absolutely cannot stand my boobs being smooshed together, I have resorted to shoving a sock in between them I hate it so much. I have 2 boobs, I want them to remain that way, so no uniboob. But I also want a bra that will keep them snuggly and firmly in place. I wish to avoid a faceful of boobage when I hit certain yoga poses. But I unfortunately don't have $50+ to throw down on a bra though. I understand a good bra is an investment, but I also understand my bank statement.

If anyone has any recommendations please help!

Thank you!

Sorry, but in my experience, the words "good" and "inexpensive" don't go in the same sentence when it comes to sports bras for busty gals. Not sure why those of us who are blessed in that department should be punished, ya know? :grumble:

I swear by my Lululemon bras - either the tatatamer or the hold me close. They'll each set you back around $85 but will last a long time, are comfortable, and separate the "girls" (esp the tatatamer). Make sure to try on first, as they do fit differently.

    Good luck!

The key is going to outlet stores like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Nordstrom Rack. You can find some high-quality brands for much more affordable pricing. And when you find one that works and fits in your budget, buy several of the same kind.

Too bad I live in Canada....we don't have any of those stores and everything costs 2x more

I swear by Victoria's Secret Incredible Sport Bra (I'm a 36 DDD). I got one for only 50 cents with coupons once. If you sign up for coupons in the mail, they usually have a free panty and $10 off bra special. Having the right coupons at the right time is how I can purchase them for around $30. Glamorise is also a good brand on on special for $24.99+ free shipping.

not an option if you're larger than DDD.

I get mine at Lane Bryant and they're really supportive and nice. Regular price is around $50 but they often have decent sales. I don't think they have band sizes smaller than 38 but I know they have DDD!

I'm a 32F and I buy the nike and Adidas ones and they fit great. But they do squash them together lol but that doesn't bother me as the bra is really comfortable.
  • Wow! Thank you for all the responses! I actually found some at http://www.barenecessities.com/ and then was able to find them even cheaper on Amazon.

Thank you everyone for the help!
