Best timing to workout for burning fat?

Does it really matter what time we workout?

Some will say morning fasted cardio, some post workout HIIT - everyone has an opinion - as long as your nutrition is keyed in and your workouts aim at burning fat, it doesn't matter at what time you workout!

If you do it when you have the most energy, you'll probably put more effort into it, and therefore burn more calories.

You'll hear lots about fasted cardio, (doing it before you have breakfast). I've been doing this the whole three months and have no idea if it makes a difference. I was told by my PT to do my weight training first so that by the time I got to the cardio I was burning my fat stores. No idea if there is truth to this, I just do what works for me, and this tends to.

no because it's not actually fat that you're burning during your workouts anyway

    Nope.

Workout when you can make time and perform best

i don't think it really matters; you have to fit exercise into your life style, your daily routine; for example if you are a stay at home mom and have to help out with homework when the kids get home; the best time to workout is morning time before or after you drop them to school; if you have problems falling to sleep at nights exercising during the evening may not be the best time because it will take some time for your body to cool down etc. if workout out doors alone safety must be taken into consideration so on

key thing is to find what works for you long term it must fit into your life; for example i have a few friends that get up four days a week at 3:45am and 4:am to workout; that works for them, however i personally cannot see myself doing that long term, there are elements of my personal life that will suffer.

its your personal journey find what works for you
