Mini Victory - feeling good!

I have been on MFP for 1 week (weigh-in in 5 hours!) but even before I know whether I have lost any weight I feel amazing! I have more energy than I have had for ages, I have been annoyingly chirpy (I think I'm driving my work colleagues insane!). I am even socialising with colleagues in the communal kitchen at lunchtimes which just proves to me that even if only sub-conciously I was ashamed of what I had been eating at lunchtimes previously.

I am also so proud of myself for preparing all my lunches the night before. I am not only eating healthily but I've saved £20 this week alone on what I would've spent at the sandwich van!!

My only worry is that although I feel this great now it's down to the novelty of being at the start of my diet and that as the weeks go by and it gets harder this feeling won't last.

So...to all my MFP friends a small request...If you ever see a post about me losing my mojo please, please, PLEASE remind me of the feeling that I had back at the beginning!!

Congrats!! I've found myself feeling just as perky (and probably just as irritating!). Isn't it great to see how what you put in your body affects EVERY part of you? I love it!

I sent you a friend request so I can help you stay on track with your motivation and for encouragement if you hit a down patch. I hope you'll help me do the same!

If you keep the mindset you have right now - it may be challenging, but not HARDER! Keep at it with a positive outlook and soon enough you'll look back being so proud of yourself for being an insipration to others! :)

I've been on my journey since August 1....and have lost a total of 51 pounds. Keep getting up, keep eating healthy, and keep moving...even when you don't want to. It's the prize at the end of the race you are looking for. Yes, there are days when I don't want to workout, but getting rid of this weight is something I've put off for a long, long time and I'm determined to get it off forever. You can keep the fire....I've lined up my prayer warriors....I've got many friends praying for me and I know it has been a huge part of my success. I will be praying for you too!

Sometimes I lose my mojo and fell like giving up, like this past weekend, I was offline all weekend and ate way too much, but then I thought that I have to face what I did and went back and logged it all (ouch), I felt really bad about it Monday and Tuesday, but I stuck with MFP and now I feel really good today, I actually feel a little thinner, not sure if it is true or not, I’ll know when I weight Sunday morning. You can do this!

NO matter what the scale says you made some changes and you are feeling great and that is whats important. The scale is just a tool to measure the progress and can change daily. Keep up the great work and congrats on your first week of making positive changes and experiencing this wonderful feeling. I will send a friend request.
