1st week success!!

I admit I weighed myself yesterday and was a bit worried because it said I had gained a pound. I weighed myself this morning and I have lost 2 lbs the first week! Making so many changes has been difficult but its getting easier. I still have some slip ups in food choices but I have held myself accountable to those choices. I didn't beat myself up about I just said ok I have to choose something else at the next meal and if I am going to eat it them I am going to record it.
My challenges this week that I am still working on making a consistent part of my life:
- drink more water
- cook dinner at home (I don't like to cook because I have never really been taught so my confidence level is low unless its mac and cheese or spaghetti. I am using recipes and that helps but still nervous. The more I cook the more confident I feel.)
- exercise at least 4 times a week (I was able to get it 2 good days of exercise)
Anyway I am excited about my progress this first week and wanted to share. This site has been very helpful and I have found that being honest and sharing our questions, trials and triumphs helps a great deal! Thanks MFP friends.

Good job - keep it up!
Keep at the cooking, the more you do it, the more you'll be able to start expanding what you can make. It is amazing some of the good things you can make that are extraordinarily simple.0 -
Great Job! This is also my first week and also had a success on the scale! I think its great that you reflected on what you learned from your week. Keep it up!0
