I have lost 9 Lbs. as of yesterday. I started on July 15th. For those on a 1200 plan is this a normal amount of weight loss or should it be more?less? Thank you to all who reply.

Depends on a lot, genetics, age, sex, height, if there's any medical issues, activity level. I don't think every person will have the same experience. I have eaten probably an average of 1200 cal since the beginning of July and am down 20 lbs since then. I am 32, have a decent amount to lose, and am pretty active doing cardio about 5x a week, chasing my 3 kids around and strength training with a trainer. 9 lbs sounds good for a month think of where you will be in a year if you continue. It's not a race I keep telling myself that0

That's ~2lbs/week, so sounds good.
Eating mostly 1200-1300 I've lost 61.7lbs since April 18th. I however, started at 375.3lbs so obviously had a s**t ton to lose. For most people who do not need to lose 200+ lbs, your weight loss is VERY good.0 -

Thank you so much for your reply. Almost 62 lbs. since April is a great accomplishment in my opinion. I only want to drop these 30/35 lbs. I have gained, so I will keep going.0
