I was 50 lbs heavier, a over eater with issues. I found crossfit and paleo about 18 months ago and it changed everything. You can do this... This is the first step in the right direction!0

Thanks for the encouragement! What is 'crossfit'? Is it hard to do if you are pretty sedentary? I just tore 2 ligaments in my ankle and can't do much of anything right now, but maybe I'll check it out!0 -
I recently started Paleo...then we had a family emergency and I had to leave town. I was caring for my mom and I didn't have cell service and could only log into the computer before I went to bed for a couple of minutes to check e-mail. So, for my first 3 weeks I was really flying by the seat of my pants.
I am now back home and have some recipe books/news letters about Paleo but would love some assistance. In the 3 weeks I was gone I gained 1 lb...so I wasn't doing something right.
Please add me...
PS here is a few sites on Cross Fit - your local gym should have a class; however they tend to be very expensive and you may have issues if you have an injury.

Hi, my husband and I are just starting the Paleo. He has about 60 lbs to lose and I only have about 5 left to go. I know, I know, not much but I have been stuck on a plateau for about 6 months. My husband wanted to try Paleo and I am willing if it will help him. But the best part is that it broke my plateau and we haven't done that much with it.
MFP set my calories higher than the other program. I adjusted my nutrition goals to 45% fat, 35% protein, and 20% carbs.
Would love to share Ideas with everyone. I have a couple of books, etc. But I know both my husband and I will fall off if we don't have a variety. We also have agreed that if we eat out for some reason, we will make the best choices possible. However it won't be the end of the world if we have something slightly off track. We figure anything we do will be in the right direction and better than we are doing now.
So we are really open to ideas. We look forward to hearing from everyone!0
