I don’t know why this is so hard for me to figure out again. Last year I last just under 30 lbs using this site. I got seriously sick and was in the hospital for a week and after I got out it took me some time to get back to myself. During this time I stopped tracking calories and kept telling myself I'd get back on track. Well I have now decided that it is time to get my butt in gear and get this done. Unfortunately I gained back all the weight I lost before. I am currently 5'3" and 225lbs. I want to get down to 135. The problem I'm having is finding the right amount of calories to eat. According to mfp set at 2lbs a week loss it gives me 1410. My BMR though is 1728 according to mfp. When I imput everything in the scooby calculator it says my BMR is 1801, my TDEE is 2476, and my calorie amout with 20% cut is 1981. What the heck should I be at?

My advice is to select one option and stick to it in order to remove the confusion. You could always switch later but for now it may be easier to just stick with one.
The initial number of calories MFP generates does not include exercise calories. When you add your exercise, MFP will increase the amount of calories for you to eat. You should eat about half because calories burned from exercises are overestimated.0 -

this..
also it's basically going to be the same number on average whether you decide to do the MFP way (random base number + exercise calories) or if you use a TDEE - x% way which already factors in your workouts0 -
Ok, I think I may try the TDEE method this time and see how it goes. Thank you0
