All the single ladies?

I started college in the fall, and gained the freshman fifteen by christmas break. I definitely don't look my best, and I feel like I've let myself go...and when I'm not feeling great about my body, it's hard to feel motivated enough to put on makeup and nice clothes for class-I just want to hide in sweatshirts and sweatpants. Plus everyone paired up in the first few months and I feel like I've been left out of musical chairs.
Anybody else run into this problem when they started school?

Oh absolutely. I also gained the freshman 15 this year! It sucks, but my roommate and I are on a weight loss campaign! It's easier knowing that I have her to turn to if I am feeling less than motivated to go run in our creepy basement lol. As far as everyone pairing up...yeah that tends to happen. BUT I know many of my 'skinny' friends are having a really hard time with relationships as well. So that happens to everyone! Stay in there, it IS possible to lose weight in college no matter how hard it seems. I've lost 5 pounds this semester so far!
ps. I'm going to friend you since we are sort of in the same boat0 -

Thanks so much!! Unfortunately my close friends are all naturally skinny with great metabolisms but it's nice to know I'm not alone!0

College was a while back for me, but I absolutely gained the majority of my weight while I was going! Between the sitting all day and then more sitting while doing homework, and of course the general stress of learning new concepts etc, each year packed on the pounds. You ladies are very wise to get on top of that now before it gets out of control, as I'm sure I probably gained about 25 lbs by the time I graduated. Get it under control now and it won't spiral!0
