  • Hi LunaWolf! I'm new here today also, so welcome to the group!

It's kinda fun to enter in all your foods and see all the calories add up. I was below the stated goal for calories today, but I sure am not hungry.

I can see what I can do to help you out with entering foods and such if you'd like. Are you on a mobile device or your computer? I have both. It seems a little easier to enter from the website on a computer.

I like the format and that you can create your own "recipe" for foods that you make that you eat often and can be saved as one item rather than entering 2 slices of bread, butter, slice of cheese, deli meat all separate, etc. I definitely like that.

Welcome! I was diabetic when I was pregnant with my son, so I know it can be difficult. I was on a very restricted diet and took my blood sugar readings 7 times a day and gave myself 4 shots of insulin a day until he was born....was diagnosed at 20 weeks, and he was born at 36 weeks. It was a long few months with all the new information to deal with, but I had a great doctor and the nurses were super and easy to talk with if I ever had questions... I wish that for you, also. :)

Keep in touch, and keep on going... you'll get this thing!

    Julie

    Hi Luna,

Welcome and hope you are not put off by all the tech on site. Once once you have moment to go through it its really easy to get your head around.

Main two tabs are food and exercise that you will most definitely interact with on a daily basis, the others are occasional at least for me.

Diabetes can certainly be controlled by a really good nutrition plan, a lot of people here will be able to help you with that.

For now welcome settle in and here is wishing you all the best with your personal goals, please feel free to add for support.
