Hey, I'm still a bit new to this, so I hope you dont think this is a stupid question, but.....how do I found out what my heart rate should be when I'm working out?

Subtract your age from 220 to get your maximum heart rate, and then multiply that number by 0.7 (to find the low end of your target zone) and 0.85 (to find the upper end of your target zone.)
For example, for a 30-year old:
220 - 30 = 190 maximum heart rate
190 x 0.7 = 133 low end of zone
190 x 0.85 = 162 high end of zone
Your target heart rate zone is between 133-162.0 -
