Question about calories deficient

To stay at my weight I need to eat 2318 calories day. So if I eat 1318 a day I will lose 2lbs a week alone with including my exercise ?

I'm not quite sure how that works... I have gone over my calorie allotment two days in a row, but MFP tells me if I eat like that every day in five weeks, I will be nearly three pounds less than I am now... wtf?

OP it depends on several things

    - did you factor exercise into the original equation to get your current maintenance?
    - how much fat do you have to lose? the closer you are to healthy body weight the harder it is to lose fat since that's what your body uses in case of a famine. PS our bodies still haven't caught up to the fact that most of us will never ever suffer famine conditions and have food at the ready 24/7.
    - if you got your number from an equation then it could be wrong. those numbers are based on averages which means they rarely will fit any individual perfectly, so your current TDEE could be more than what you have or less than what you have

also you dont need to eat the same amount everyday as long as your numbers average out then that's what will count

MFP puts you in a deficit. If you eat a little over but still less than your maintenance, then you will still lose.
