:flowerforyou: I'm training for a half marathon and have a question..Do you always do your long runs on the same day?

I do....my Saturday mornings are for my long runs that way I can indulge in some 'adult' beverages saturday night, and KNOW that I earned it :-) Plus, it's easier to plan it and make it stick!

same here...also this may sound wierd but get your body used to also waking up early, because thats all you need at a 7 am race is to be groggy, stumbling, not able to eat etc on race morning
  • I'm asking because I schedule my long runs for Sunday, but sometimes I feel like doing it on Friday or Saturday (if I have time). Does it really matter? May be a silly question.

It really doesn't matter if you have to change the day. Sometimes I do mine on Saturday, sometimes on Sunday. When it gets warmer out and I don't need to use a treadmill I almost always go on a Sunday morning...its just so peaceful! =)

Since I am currently running at the gym I do my long runs when it is not busy. I make sure I space my long runs out a little. One or two in a week but otherwise it is not on a specific day.
