ive been working out regularly since about march.. lost about 8 pounds, still want to lose some but im most concerned about my stomach getting flatter, arms a little bigger, and my butt.
my butt is the problem.
im 22 years old and have the butt of a 50 year old. worse actually!!! i dont know how it got this way but i NEED to know how often and how many squats i should be doing a day or what else i can do during the day (i am a receptionist, i dont get to move much 8 hours a day!!)
i am just so embarassed of how disgusting my butt looks and im not sure what to do.
what doesnt help is my knees are very sensitive, doing about 5 squats makes my knees feel like they're going to shatter. ive attempted to fix my position, etc, but now im willing to power through it. how many squats should i be doing a week/day to have some decent results within 3 months? IS THIS EVEN FIXABLE?
i apoligize for the gross picture
the flash actually masked some of the dimples and wrinkles,
but i need help...

look up proper squat form. to protect your knee and to gt the booty benefits you need to get your hips lower than your knees!
also make sure your knees are always travelling in the same direction your toes are pointed. think of sitting back like you're sticking your butt out, and get post parallel! get the form right before you start worrying about how many to do it's better to do 10 good squats than 100 crappy ones.
you might also want to pick up a book called strong curves. there's some great info in there and routines about building a fab back side and overall strength0
