lifting light weight after injection

I had a deep muscle injection yesterday (Tuesday) and am wondering when i can do my light weights again. I know i need to avoid for a couple days but I've googled it and can''t find any info on how long i should leave off the weights

    If it is comfortable to lift weights do it. If not don't. That applies unless it is some type of exotic inection.

    no it's a routine injection i get every month and i didn't ask my dr. because i didn't think of it because it's a routine injection i get every month; in the office, get the injection, out the door. no appt. necessary

    Ah I see, have a days rest, then lift and see how it feels?
