I feel for you both. I really do. Size alone should not cause a break up. Keeping with the program makes a thinner you but not a different inner you. I was married to an alcoholic and I want to tell you from my vantage point I was lonelier while married than now that I'm a widow. I haven't dated either since his death. Chin up and give it your best shot. There is plenty of empathy here at mfp.
