Hello all!
So I just joined here about a week or so ago... I am really wanting to lose weight because I would like to feel awesome about myself. I weigh the most I have ever weighed in my life and it is really bringing me down so I wanna do something about it! My plan is to just watch what I eat and walk every day, but sometimes it is hard for me to just snap out of lazy mode and get on the ball. So I'd like some friends who are super serious about losing weight and being healthy and who also use mfp a lot! I feel like if I could see someone being successful every day, then it would help me to do better.

Hi .. I know what u mean .. at times there r so many temptations and way too many reason to make us feel lazy but then it's all worth it in the end I list like 4 pounds in a month but dam it felt magical wen I stood on that weighing scale ... I hope o can help I keeping up ur spirits .. walk n walk ... good luck p's get a pedometer k have fitbit flax and k love it0

I know it's hard trying to lose weight by yourself sometimes it helps to exercise and walk with a buddy. I love zumba . I have all types of exercise tapes. But I do better around people. so I go out and exercise with a group. This is more motivating This will get you going. Try that. See how it works.0

Good luck in your journey. As someone mentioned before you may want to buy a fitbit band or download an app called Pacer which is a good way to measure your activity. Feel free to add :-)0

Good you're on here then, lots of great people on here to keep you motivated! Add me if you'd like, I'm trying to lose some weight myself and get back into good shape again. Put on some weight after we had kids so now I'm trying to get rid of that. It's nice to log on here and see what everyone else is doing. You realize everyone has a different situation but one thing in common, they are all making fitness a priority and seeing them make progress just inspires you more to keep it up!0

I definitely know what you mean! I was at the highest weight of my life when I joined here. I lost 8 lbs and was feeling really good about myself. Then I got pregnant and gained some weight. It didn't all fall off after baby was born like everyone told me it would so now I'm losing that weight and the weight I lost before.
It's a long process, but it is so doable! Add me if you'd like! : )0 -
Makes perfect sense. Get some friends, help keep them motivated, stay motivated, etc. You can do it. Ask for people who are in your age range, same goals, etc. and friend up with them. Good luck!0
