I normally just buy a lot of meat, but I've been shopping at Asian markets recently.. it's actually a better deal to hit up the Asians for protein.

I'm thinking:

Eggs
Salsa
Paper Towels

I know you said you have protein, but the Kirkland whole roasted turkey breast is my go-to CostCo buy, and it freezes really well.
I find that the fresh berries last MUCH longer than ones you get in the grocery store.
You can also buy organic frozen veggies cheaper than almost anywhere else.

    My faves:
    Spring mix
    Mann's sugar snap peas
Superfood salad (the one with kale, brussels sprouts etc)
    Hummus

And if you can get out of there without spending $300, that's a bonus

That's funny - my Costco bill is ALWAYS $300, it doesn't seem to matter what I buy! :)

    I also like to get:
    The $5 rotisserie chicken
Cooked shrimp ready to eat or frozen raw shrimp
    Steaks
    Raspberries
    Beef Jerky- pacific gold

And all the samples of course.... :)

Do you eat the turkey breast sliced as a meal or on sandwiches? Or do you do something else with it?

costco is only good for large quantity items in my experience. their produce and meats are no better than other grocery stores. so buy what you can stash away for a month without spoiling

We go every Friday...here's our list so far:

    - Bread
    - eggs
    - milk
    - string cheese
    - low sodium V8
    - pork tenderloin roast
    - chicken thighs
    - chicken breasts
    - sirloin steaks
    - hake or cod fillets
    - salmon
    - salmon burgers
    - marinara
    - assorted pasta
    - broccoli
    - carrots
    - assorted bell peppers
    - snap peas
    - mixed salad greens
    - apples
    - cherries (if they still have them)
    - blueberries
    - strawberries
    - avocados
    - melon

I'm sure there are other things that we realize we'll need as we walk through the store. This is a bigger than average Costco trip due to we're just out of meat, poultry, and fish. Those items should last us about a month or so...hopefully...Friday is going to be pricey.
