Burning calories

Just curious how many calories everyone tries to burn doing exercise /cardio not daily things just cardio? I read to lose 1 lb a week you should burn 500 does that include normal daily activity?

    I aim for 200-400 calories.

    I go for roughly 300-400 whenever possible.

    Thanks lol I thought I was being unrealistic because I was aiming for 400.

    I do cardio for my health....about 30 minutes 3X a week. To lose weight, just eat what MFP tells you to. The calorie deficit is built into your goals already.

    Same here. I do 30 minutes 3x a week. I do end up burning between 200-300 calories in those 30 minutes 3 times a week but the main thing is eat what MFP tells you on calories. Measure and weigh your food. Be honest with yourself and the weight will come off slowly. There is no quick answer.
