So every day I do eat pretty much the same thing. I eat a lot of veggies and fruit. I also love to eat vegetable chicken stir fry. But if I continue eating similar foods will my body just get used to it and will I just see no progress in the long run? Should I mix it up a few days and eat more and some days eat less?

yea you should definately mix it up a bit. I mean chicken veggie stir fry is great but is you eat the same thing every day you body is only getting the nutients that are in that meal! You need to eat a variety of protiens, fuits and vegetables to make sure your really nurishing your body. Maybe try changinging the stirfry up with beef or seafood and changing the veggies you put in it. Also, salads with protien and light dressings also work for meals; especially for lunches! You should be careful not to bore yourself too because when you get tired of a certain food, your more likely to give uo on the diet, or act on impulse.0

I'm a super consistent eater. It's actually a joke at the restaurant I work for. We get free food each shift and when I go to order, the bar tenders all just wave me off and say "I know, I know, chicken satay and a spinach salad". I didn't find this hurt my weight loss in anyway. But I noticed some people really feel strongly about mixing things up. But I see it all very mathematically, and that has worked for me.
Good luck on your journey I hope you find a system that works for you.0 -
Haha, I used to work at the restaurant, Cheddar's. I didn't get free food, but I got it half off. I always got the same thing...and still do. I never noticed my body getting used to it.0
