    im not doing strong lifts anymore but i do lift.

    i kinda got to the point where i couldnt do 3 lifts in 1 workout without spending 90+ minutes, plus i hate BB row and would rather be able to do pullups and most importantly i missed my power cleans and clean jerks :laugh:

    I think it's a natural progression. I started 5x5 but 3 days a week of squats just killed me. I could not recover enough between workouts. Switched to a different full body program (modelled on old bodybuilder Steve Reeves program) and really enjoyed it.

    It did have rows, but I like them so no worries.

    I did SL 5x5 from Sept 9th 2013 until June 1st 2014...then switched to 3x5 for the summer as it was taking time..

    Been loving the 3x5...but switching to Wendler 5/3/1 in Sept.
