stretch marks impacting loose skin after weight loss?

Has anyone with a lot of stretch marks lost a significant amount of weight (80-100 lbs) without too much loose skin? I have a ridiculous number of stretch marks covering my torso, and I am concerned about my skin's ability to snap back. Earlier this year, I went from around 250 lbs to 185 lbs through crash dieting. I have noticed signs of loose skin. Very recently I decided to adopt a more appropriate deficit of 1600-2000 calories daily and weight training. I am concerned about my skin's elasticity because it has several severe stretch marks from prior yoyo dieting. I still have much fat too lose and I am worried how my skin will look after I am at an appropriate body fat percentage. Is it still possible for my skin to recover even though I am covered in stretch marks?

Well if you've already got loose skin, then the ONLY way to reduce it is:
Put on more mass to push it out and make it taut again
Surgery
Stretch marks are a direct indication of the skin being overstretched.

I can only speak from personal experience but my stretch marks are on my legs. I have zero loose skin there. All muscle0

I've lost the same amount but may have taken more time to do it. I still have stretch marks and mushy skin on my belly from giving birth and that baby is in law school now, lol. The loose skin that concerns me is new. I don't know if it's because I lost weight or if my skin would've been loose, anyway, if I hadn't been fat. Skin loosens up when you age!
But it's been freaking me out because it's gross enough now and I'm only halfway there.
I have been trying really hard not to lose too much. I've actually made myself sick eating things I shouldn't, just to slow down the weight loss to prevent the loose skin. That has to stop, lol. Better to be alive with loose skin that dead without it!
I think maybe it is something I will just have to live with.0
