Can anyone help me find this food?

Back around Valentine's Day, I bought some Honey Smoked Salmon at Publix. It was delicious. Recently, I wanted to get some more, only my local Publix stores have stopped carrying it. I have tried searching the 'net for it, but I can't remember the exact brand. It was refrigerated, came in a black cardboard overwrap, with the salmon vacuum-packed in clear plastic inside. It was an 8oz package, and sold for 8.99. Yes, I can remember all that but not the brand name. Go figure. If anyone on MFP maybe bought this salmon on a regular basis and knows the brand name, I could order it from the company, or provide Publix with more info and possibly get them to carry it again locally.     Well, I found the Honey Smoked Fish Company that sells smoked salmon but they make no mention in their processing of using honey. I also found various recipes for making your own smoked salmon using a brine or rub that contains honey.

    If what you found was honey-smoked salmon from some other brand, the reason it may have disappeared is because the so-named company just won a suit preventing a restaurant chain from using the term "honey smoked salmon" in describing one of their sandwiches that was not using the company's product. They may have decided to avoid lawyer's fees by taking their product off the market.

    Contact Publix. Ask if they are still selling the product under a different name.

    Vita Foods possibly? That has a black overwrap. I'm guessing, it popped up when I did a google search.

    It might have been Vita, except they don't seem to sell a honey version anymore. I am hoping the seafood manager at one Publix can find it - he said he'll look into it for me. Hopefully I can find something similar. Thank you all for your help! AGB
